AUTISM FACTS & STATISTICS(from the CDC)
* Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. • About 1 in 59 children (age 8) have been identified with ASD in the USA. (CDC, 2014 data.) • ASD occurs in all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups -- except the Amish. • Starting in the late 1980’s, there has been an increasing rate of ASD among children. • About 1 in 6 children in the USA had a disability in 2006-2008. • Overall population prevalence of ASD in Asia, Europe and North America is 1% - 2%. People in their 30s thru 70s are not affected by Autism, but are often affected by Alzheimers instead. • ASD is about 4 times more common in boys than in girls.
WHAT ARE AUTISM SYMPTOMS?
Auditory Processing Disorders, Behavior Disorders, Dyslexia, Failure To Thrive, Learning Delays, Maldigestion, Malnutrition, Microbiome (poor gut flora), Mitochondrial Damage, Motor Skills Delays, PDD, Seizures, Speech Delays, Sensory Integration Disorders, Stimming, Toe-walking, and Visual Processing Disorders. ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and may occur with or without Autism. Aspergers is a variation of Autism that stunts emotional sensitivity and behavior, but increases mental and academic acuity.
WHAT CAUSES AUTISM ? (from Trace Amounts.com)
• Autism is not a classic genetic disease. Genetic drift is the amount genes change over time, which is about 1%per 100 years. Meanwhile, the current rate of this autism epidemic is increasing by_______. So ASD cannot be due to genetic drift.
• Autism is an epidemic. The 2 main causes of epidemics are infectious agents or toxic exposure. Autism is primarily an epidemic of multiple highly toxic substances that are poisoning our children. And they cannot detoxify these poisons, because they have genetic mutations and/or malnutrition in major detoxification pathways.
