DIGESTION
Proteins are first digested in the acid stomach at pH 1-4, then in the intestine. Fats and carbohydrates
are digested in the alkaline intestine at pH 6-9. If you mix these together, foods will often not digest
properly. Then bacteria will ferment the sugars, and putrify the proteins, causing gas and bloating, and
sometimes nausea and cramps. We recommend that you eat your proteins first, then your vegetables,
and last your starch.
